eLamb started in 2007 as a learning and development consultancy for hair & beauty salon owners…but that is another story all together!
Our name comes from our founder’s maternal grandfather, Edward Lamb, as he always said, “treat your staff and your customers, like you would want a family member to be treated”.
Originally it was just one person, clocking up long hours on the road and huge bills whilst visiting businesses around the country.
Now we focus on helping L&D departments and training providers grow their businesses by using learning technology with quality content.
Our focus is on Learning & Development, it is not on a specific industry. We develop eLearning courses with our in-house team and we support L&D departments and training providers with the delivery of their face to face, webinar and eLearning training.
We are a small, dedicated team, who value building quality relationships above quantity of business. We don’t want to just help you deliver your training; we want to help you create a successful culture of learning.
We want to feel like we are part of your team (family), always there for you when you want some free advice and guidance but equally as happy to roll our sleeves up and do the work for you. Whether that is designing online training or acting as your L&D admin support.
We have 3 core values we look for in all our team members and hope they shine through in our relationship with you.
By being honest, reachable and reliable, we are confident you will enjoy working with us.
If we don’t have the expertise you are looking for or our technology doesn’t have the ability to do what you want, we will tell you.
We can’t build quality relationships if we try to “win” as much business as possible by stretching our capabilities.
Especially important with a remote working team, we will not shy away from answering your calls or questions.
If you need quick responses or decisions from us, you will have a dedicated client services manager and account manager.
Whilst we try not to work out of hours, we are contactable and we know how important it is to communicate when you are under pressure yourselves.
If we say we will deliver something by a certain time, we will. If we say we will deliver it within your budget, we will…even if it ends up taking up more of our resources.
We aim to achieve a strong partnership with you by focusing more on L&D than technology.
The way you design your courses and structure your delivery, is far more important than the functionality of the technology you are using.
You are competing with social media apps for your network’s attention, so first and foremost your content needs to be engaging.
All they are doing on social media is swiping/scrolling, tapping/clicking, so we strongly believe your digital learning needs to focus more on the content and delivery, than the technology.
Don’t misinterpret us, we understand the importance of a good Learning Management System and eLearning authoring tool.
We just believe how the content is designed and delivered has more impact on whether your learners engage with it and how long they stay engaged.
We have offices in Darlington and Sheffield. Most of our clients are head quartered in the UK, although our LMS and eLearning is delivered in multiple languages all over the globe.

eLamb are very responsive to our needs and develop creative solutions for our business requirements. They look after our LMS and respond to any quiries from our colleagues promptly. We have regular updates from eLamb and I would describe our relationship as truly collaborative. I have no hesitation in recommending eLamb.

Founder/Manager at 123 Teachers
We wanted to provide Safeguarding training to our network of teachers and to be alerted when that training should be refreshed.
The feedback from our teachers has been tremendously positive, especially around the way the courses were broken down into small sessions and delivered via our app, making it easy to learn and complete.
The whole process is automated for us now, we have teachers completing their safeguarding training and taking their certificates into schools without us asking now!

Dan Barnes
Head of Learning & Development, Caprice Holdings
Before eLamb we didn’t have an LMS across our business. I chose eLamb because I wanted an easy to use LMS that both my staff and I would be able to use daily. What I liked about eLamb was Mark and the team. Always at the end of the phone and willing to talk through ideas to develop the system and answer questions that I had. It’s the personal touch that makes the difference with eLamb compared to other big LMS providers.
eLamb develop the system constantly, they clearly listen to feedback from their clients to help keep pace with Learning & Development needs.
If an LMS is new to your business I’d recommend starting with them.

Founder at Darlings of Chelsea
As we didn’t have our own Learning & Development manager, I was concerned the process of creating our own bespoke online training would add to my workload. However, Craig project managed the development so well, from design to delivery, it just felt like a really easy process.
