They were also finding it increasingly difficult to know who exactly needed to complete training, due to the high turnover of staff in the hospitality industry.
As Caprice has a heavy focus on classroom training, with weekly inductions and additional training focusing on wine and management training, they didn’t want to have two separate systems/procedures to manage employee training.
eLamb’s LMS allows Caprice Holdings to automatically assign all training and follow up on any training each employee has missed.
We built a custom API to sync with their HR system and all learners are automatically updated on a daily basis.
Our LMS comes with complete classroom management functionality; allowing Caprice to upload documents, powerpoints, deliver post training assessments & surveys, as well as allowing the instructor to mark learners as attended/not attended on the day.
Employees can access course content 24/7 after the session itself.
Caprice took our 7 CIEH Level 2 assured hospitality training modules on our system and rolled them out to only the relevant job roles.
Caprice Holdings saw over 150 learners from two trial sites take the training modules they were assigned within a 4 week period. The gamified learning environment eLamb provided also gave the chance to reward learners for their progress.
With the trial a success, it was decided that the rest of the group would then be introduced, using dedicated training managers at each site to aid in their staff Learning & Development.
