Having developed and delivered training for over 150 clients in multiple industries, we have the knowledge of what makes training engaging and effective, but we are not just another training provider, we are more.

We like to build a strong relationship, share ideas and best practice with you. We also project manage the entire process, giving you more time to focus your efforts elsewhere.

By following our 5 stages of eLearning course development, we will create a fantastic course for you, delivered on time whilst taking up very little of yours!

Stage 1: Discovering you objectives.

Everyone needs to go through this stage. You will fall at the first hurdle if you don’t define what you want to achieve by delivering your course digitally. You need to define your objectives before you even start thinking about the content for the course.

These objectives play an important part later when it comes to designing your course and monitoring its success. There are 2 objectives to consider here, your learners’ objectives and your company’s objectives.

Step 2: Helping you create a detailed content plan

This can be a very quick stage, especially if you are wanting to convert PowerPoint slides into interactive eLearning courses.

However, it is not a problem if your content isn’t already mapped out in PowerPoint. We will either work with your internal subject matter experts and produce your content plan. Or work with our network of subject matter experts to create the content to fit your learners’ objectives.

Content can be provided to us in many formats, including existing PowerPoint slides, internal documents and marketing brochures. If this doesn’t exist, we can interview subject matter experts and create a content map from that.

Step 3: Designing your modules

Some customers are happy to go straight to the Development stage from Stage 2 (especially if we are converting existing PowerPoints). However, creating a detailed design storyboard, helps you visualise the course before we start developing it and makes the content come to life.

The design stage includes defining how each area of your content map will be published. It could be a mixture of animation, audio only, interactive slides, video etc.

Please contact us and ask for examples of our design storyboards.

Step 4: Developing your modules

Once you have signed off on the design and/or content stage, our team of eLearning course developers begin to build your ideal eLearning modules/assessments. You will always have a dedicated projected manager and lead developer to support you throughout the 5 stages.

Although you may have multiple developers working on your course development. We use our experience and knowledge of your business to ensure the courses are on point, engaging and fun for your learners.

Step 5: Sign off and Delivery

Once you’re satisfied, we sign off the final versions and if you’re using eLambLMS (our Learning Management System) we create your account and provide you with a training session. If, however you are using your own LMS, we provide you with the content in a compatible format to use.

Step 6: Signing off and Delivery

Once you’re satisfied, we sign off the final versions and if you’re using eLambLMS (our Learning Management System) we create your account and provide you with a training session. If, however you are using your own LMS, we provide you with the content in a compatible format to use.

eLamb are very responsive to our needs and develop creative solutions for our business requirements.  They look after our LMS and respond to any quiries from our colleagues promptly.  We have regular updates from eLamb and I would describe our relationship as truly collaborative.  I have no hesitation in recommending eLamb.

We wanted to provide Safeguarding training to our network of teachers and to be alerted when that training should be refreshed. The feedback from our teachers has been tremendously positive, especially around the way the courses were broken down into small sessions and delivered via our app, making it easy to learn and complete. The whole process is automated for us now, we have teachers completing their safeguarding training and taking their certificates into schools without us asking now!

Before eLamb we didn’t have an LMS across our business. I chose eLamb because I wanted an easy to use LMS that both my staff and I would be able to use daily. What I liked about eLamb was Mark and the team. Always at the end of the phone and willing to talk through ideas to develop the system and answer questions that I had. It’s the personal touch that makes the difference with eLamb compared to other big LMS providers. eLamb develop the system constantly, they clearly listen to feedback from their clients to help keep pace with Learning & Development needs. If an LMS is new to your business I’d recommend starting with them.
